What do you get when you cross breed croissant with a doughnut? In US it is known as The Cronut. Origins from New York bakery Dominque Ansel, with only 200 trademarked pieces selling at $5 each per day and sold out within minutes at 8am.

The US pastry sensation is now finally in town. The name Cronut is being trademarked. Da Paolo Gastronomia has its version called The Crodo.

It is made from croissant dough and deep fried. It looks like a doughnut but tastes like a croissant. There are 2 flavours available at $4.90 each.

The Cream Crodo has rich pastry cream filling and dusted with sugar top finishing.

The Chocolate Crodo is filled with bittersweet chocolate cream and topped with chocolate glazed on top.
