Potato Depot

Everywhere has queues during lunchtime at Raffles City Shopping Centre. Heavy downpour outside, so sort of been stuck here. First plan to have it at Tiong Bahru Bakery but the dish which I plan to have is not available. After walking around, in the end come here.

Here is a small outfit selling baked potato.

Having the P.D. Original set meal ($7.90) – the baked potato, salad, soup of the day & drink.

The dressing for the salad is light and tangy. The soup tastes like thick curried potato soup, warming in such a cold weather.

P.D. Original
Bacon bits, sour cream, chives
See how much bacon bits filled the whole baked potato. I like the huge amount of sour cream underneath the bacon. The potato is very fluffy and soft. The only low point is the bacon bits which looks like supermarket’s bottled type.

Total damages : $7.90

Interesting fact : the potatoes displayed are all real. After been cooked, 2 of the staffs will dump the potatoes into the narrow drain-like area. Maybe to cool them.
