A 60-seater on the second level, housed within Ascott Raffles Place. Serving modern British cuisine.
We are showed to a table by the glass side with a view of the road facing Raffles Place MRT, under bright lights which I prefer to tables which in dimmed areas.
The restaurant week menu
The different from the online menu is the addition of RoPrime Rib ( topup of $20 ).
We are served hot buns with butter. Hot and crispy on the thin crust, soft inside.
Crispy Soft Shell Crab
With Avocado Guacamole-Scented Horseradish & Coriander and Mango & Tomato Salsa
Crispy but oily and abit too salty soft shell crab. The horseradish is plain in taste but thick and creamy. The salsa is more of tomato.
Baby Romaine Lettuce, Bacon Crisps, 6-Minutes Egg, Herb Croutons and Classic Caesar Dressing
See how nice looking yolk flowing.
Simple but tasty dish.
Pan Seared Norwegian Salmon
With Citrus-Almonds Crumbs, Grilled Seasonal Vegetables, Beetroot Couscous and Sauce Vierge
Crispy skin on outside, juicy inside for the undercook fish.
Braised Lamb Shank
With Yam Mousseline, Roasted Root Vegetables, Mushroom Ragout and Au Jus
Very big and tender lamb shank, but I am too full to finish all.
Sticky Date Pudding
With Butterscotch Sauce and Bourbon Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
Tasty hot pudding, which goes well with cold ice cream.
Platter of The Royal Mail Signature Desserts
Vanilla Panna Cotta, Strawberry Rhubrab Crumble and Banoffee Tart
The Panna cotta is thick and tasty. The tart is nice without overly sweet.
