This week is restaurant week. Tonite we are trying out the restaurant week’s menu here, which served modern European food.
A rather small place – 45-seater.I have made a reservation at 8.30pm but we are more than an hour early. We are lucky to have a table as someone else did not turn up for their booking. We are showed to a table in the centre of the restaurant.
For our first course :
Lobster bisque (Supplement of $6++)
combination of two way lobster bisque perfumed with heady cappuccino pernod.
Maybe I have too high expectation, after reading about so much good reviews about this dish. First the dish must have waited sometimes at the counter before been served as a layer has formed on soup by the time it reaches me. Secondly it does not blow me away. Just tastes so so, a waste of $6.
For second course :
Well done. But no enough crispy and the fat does not really has the melt in the mouth feeling.
