Waited for more than 1 hour, finally got a seat in the restaurant.
The salmon is undercooked, but does not taste like sashimi, more of melt in the mouth feeling. Very much prefer this to usual cook salmon steak found in most restaurants. Interesting having minced plum and chive on top of the fish.
Cannot taste any vanilla. The well cooked piece of apple under the slice of foie gras is soft and sweet.
Angel Hair Pasta with Sherry minced Pork and Sakura Ebi ($3.90 ++)
Very interesting dish with simple items. I hope I can recreate it at home.
Crispy Pork Belly with poached Egg and Diced Vegetables ($10.90 ++)
Very crispy skin and soft, tender meat. Better than what I can find in most cha siew outlets.
Chicken Roulade with Foie Gras stuffing and Basmati Rice ($9.90 ++)
Cannot taste the foie gras in the stuffing. I never had basmati rice can cooked this way, so creamy for using long grain rice. Served in very small plate.
Pistachio Panna Cotta ($6.90 ++)
Nutty and creamy panna cotta.
Textures of Citrus ($6.90 ++)
Very refreshing, especially the pieces of fruit (lemon, grape fruit) that serves with it. You will be wide awoke. It is like a red jelly and orange ice, topped with cornflakes.
